We are an independent, interdisciplinary think tank devoted to the nations and regions of Europe. For us, Europe’s diversity is its strength and something to be cherished and researched. That diversity does not only exist at the national level. ​
From the coastal havens of Iceland to the magnificent complexity of the Caucasus, and everything in between, EUNRO seeks to preserve that diversity and provide a platform for people to contribute their own research and ideas on what Europe is, what it should be, and how we can protect and empower its nations and regions to ensure their survival and thriving in the 21st century.

Our mission is to preserve Europe’s cultural and linguistic diversity by empowering its regions with greater autonomy and improved governance. We achieve this by producing high-quality, accessible, and interdisciplinary research on Europe’s regions and reaching policymakers with insightful policy work.
